Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the Vera skincare application. By using the app you agree to be bound by them. Please read them carefully.

By downloading, installing, accessing or using the application you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the application.

The application uses artificial intelligence to analyse skin photos and produce personalised skincare recommendations. You understand and agree that:

AI recommendations are based on general patterns and may not be accurate for your particular situation; an AI analysis is not equivalent to a medical diagnosis; you should verify recommendations with a healthcare professional; and we are not responsible for adverse reactions or outcomes arising from following them.

Accurate information: you agree to provide accurate, current and complete information about yourself and your skin. False or misleading answers produce inaccurate recommendations.

Medical consultation: you agree to consult a qualified healthcare professional before making significant changes to your skincare routine, particularly for serious or persistent conditions.

Proper use: you agree to use the application only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms, and not to violate any law or infringe the rights of others.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES AND LIABILITIES REGARDING: the accuracy, completeness or usefulness of AI recommendations; any adverse reaction or outcome from following them; any skin condition, allergy or medical issue that may arise; and the availability, security or error-free operation of the application.

You use the application at your own risk. We are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of it.

Free trial: if you start a free trial you will be charged when the trial period ends, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it expires.

Auto-renewal: subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

Cancellation: you can cancel at any time through your app store account settings.

Refunds: refunds are handled according to your app store's refund policy. We reserve the right to refuse refunds in cases of abuse or violation of these Terms.

All content, features, algorithms and functionality of the application are owned by us and protected by copyright, trademark and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute or create derivative works without our express written permission.

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, with or without cause, if you violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent, abusive or illegal activity. On termination your right to use the application ceases immediately.

We may modify these Terms at any time and will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms in the app. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance of it.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Disputes arising from them, or from your use of the application, will be resolved through binding arbitration or in the appropriate courts.
